Using wood storage cubes as storage systems

Posted by admin in August 11th 2010

Most people don’t even realize that they have a powerful tool just a click away. For someone who is interested in having a modern look to their rooms without spending a fortune, the number of available options is very close to zero. Modern furniture is available anywhere, but to get them you’d have to reach deep in your pocket, unless you get that classy design by using wooden storage cubes. They’re cheap, simple, and versatile enough to be used in any combination with surrounding pieces of furniture. In other words, if you have stuff in your rooms already, but need some more space without pushing it, consider getting them.

Wood cubes are most often made of pine, teak or mahogany. The look is a primary motive here, but as a result they’re durable and strong enough to withstand some great pressure that you’d have difficulties achieving with anything else. These things can be put into towers of 4-5 blocks and be filled with random this-that without spotting bending boards. Even add-on shelves come with a 200 lbs weight limit, which is often enough to let an average adult sit down on it. The sides of the cube are even sturdier, so you can easily build a chair out of them. Just make sure that you choose the right edge length cubes.

Add-ins make these blocks easy to work with towards any goal you might be having in front of you in interior design. If you want a drawer box, you can have it, and it won’t cost you too much, either. Shelves? No problem. Do you want to add a door to hide the clutter? You can definitely do that in ten minutes if you have the door already. All add on are mostly not available for other storage systems such as melamine shelving.

Wood storage cubes are versatile solutions to the ever present problem; how do people make clothes and small things disappear without making the room look like a basement with shelves and chests?
