Today there are many types of bathing system on the market, some more portable than others. There is the tried and true standard, the bath tub. There is the whirlpool tub, often called the “Jacuzzi”. There are steam shower systems that provide a fresh and unique bathing experience. And there are, of course walk in shower enclosures, which may be considered something of the workhorse when it comes to bathing systems in the world of today, especially given its popularity. It has a quality almost approaching indispensability.
Other bathing systems, even the old hands like the bath tub, cannot exactly achieve what the regular shower does. Walk in shower enclosures offer something other types of bathing system do not. What they offer, of course, is efficiency and extra time on your hands for doing things that need doing, around the house, at the office, or anywhere under the sun. They are quite simply a very effective, efficient time saver.
The bath tub, the whirlpool tub, and the steam shower are not in general devices suited for hygiene. For example, taking a bath, which is to say, soaking in the tub, is not as effective as taking a shower. When one takes a bath, one is simply immersed in the same bath water that you have been using to clean yourself. Ideally, the bath tub, the whirlpool tub, and the steam shower are not systems meant for simply cleaning up. When one employs one of these devices, one is clearly after a relaxing experience of a kind that a simple walk in shower cannot afford.
However the walk in shower as previously mentioned is the workhorse, a relative powerhouse of efficiency. The idea is not to “immerse” or to soak, but to clean yourself off and get the day started, or alternately, remove the day’s unhygienic burdens with a rapid and cleansing effect that is not the province of any of the other bathing systems mentioned. As a result the shower is by far the most popular of all the bathing systems available, although it is often purchased in combination with the bath tub.
