Clean Your Pool Faster With An Automatic Pool Cleaner

Posted by admin in February 9th 2010

There is nothing worse than doing chores on the weekend in the summer outdoors. It’s hot and it’s a lot of work and sweating is not fun either. Besides mowing the lawn, my most hated chore is cleaning the pool. Dragging out all the equipment from the shed, putting everything together and then standing by the pool moving a vacuum around for hours is not fun at all. You are standing right there and you want to jump in but then you won’t be able to see what you’re doing.  Plus it takes forever.

That’s why they make automatic pool cleaners. They do all the work for you so all you have to do is enjoy swimming which is why you bought the pool in the first place. Some people are under the notion that automatic cleaners are slow and think they can do a better job by just “hitting the trouble spots” but by doing that you are only going to have to clean your pool even more. Automatic cleaners clean your entire pool so that you don’t have to keep breaking out all the equipment to clean those “trouble spots”.

If you want to talk about fast pool cleaners then you should look at robotic pool cleaners. They take the best of regular automatic pool cleaners and sup it up with electricity. They don’t use your pool system, you just plug them into a standard outlet and watch them cruise along the bottom of your pool picking up dirt and debris in it’s path. Not to mention that while it’s cleaning the bottom of your pool it’s also cleaning the water. The water that it sucks up passes through a fine mesh filter bag that also filters the water much like a sand filter.

So the next time you are out there vacuuming your pool, think automatic!
